DTM Honours And Celebrates All Teachers On World Teachers’ Day
NAIROBI, KENYA: Development Through Media (DTM) joins Kenyans in honouring and celebrating all teachers on World Teachers’ Day for their invaluable contribution to education, character formation and nation-building.
Teachers are more than educators. They are mentors, role models, guides and champions of children’s dreams, shaping lives both inside and beyond the classroom. From early childhood educators to primary and secondary school teachers, TVET instructors, university lecturers and educators in special-needs institutions, their contribution to society is immeasurable.
As Kenya prepares for the upcoming KCSE examinations, DTM particularly recognises teachers who continue to guide, encourage and support candidates through this important stage of their education.
DTM calls on parents, learners, communities and education stakeholders to make teacher appreciation a continuing culture—not merely a one-day celebration. Teachers deserve our respect, support and recognition for the important work they do in building Kenya’s future.
To all teachers: Thank you for teaching, guiding, inspiring and believing in our children. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom.
Happy World Teachers’ Day!
May God bless all teachers for their dedication and service.
