Labour Day Statement by Development Through Media (DTM)

Development Through Media (DTM) celebrates all Kenyan workers whose labour drives our nation forward.

As the world of work evolves, we call for stronger protections, fair opportunities, and recognition of all forms of labour—especially for youth, women, and those in informal sectors.

DTM reaffirms its commitment to amplifying workers’ voices and promoting dignified, inclusive development through media.

Happy Labour Day. Your work matters.

Signed:

Ms Dommie Yambo-Odotte,
Executive Director and Producer
Development Through Media (DTM)
