The day started with a sense of purpose. As a Journalism and Mass Communication student currently on attachment at Development Through Media (DTM), every task is an opportunity to learn and grow. My morning was spent going through the DTM profile, carefully making short notes to help me understand the organization better. The picture shows me at my desk, focused and determined, highlighting the discipline that comes with attachment. It was a quiet but intense moment of preparation, reminding me that attention to detail is what builds a strong foundation for professional work.

By the afternoon, the pace of the day had slowed down. After hours of reading and note-taking, I allowed myself a short break to relax. The photograph captures me leaning back, taking a moment to breathe and reflect. It was not just about resting but also about recharging. This balance is something I am learning on my attachment—that productivity is not only about constant activity but also about knowing when to pause and gather new energy.

The afternoon calm gave me clarity and renewed focus for the tasks that remained.
As the clock edged toward evening, I prepared to leave the office. The picture of me stepping out reflects a mix of relief and quiet satisfaction. It marked the end of a productive day, one where I had balanced work, learning, and self-discipline. Walking out of DTM, I carried with me not only the notes I had taken but also the experience of being immersed in a real newsroom environment. Each day of attachment is shaping me into the journalist I aspire to become, and this Thursday was no exception.
